	Job Details Job Title: Manufacturing Mgr- PCL Company: Silgan Plastics Location: Chesterfield, MO Job ID: 4894 Salary: Within Range Job Location: Port Clinton, OH Refer this job to a friend Job Description: SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Manufacturing Manager will ensure that the various functions of the operations group interact cohesively to meet the overall goals of the corporation. This individual will also provide clear direction and leadership to the production supervisors through goal setting and timely feedback. Must maintain a clear focus on the tactical & strategic plans of the facility and ensure that they are closely aligned with corporate goals and objectives. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership to the production supervisors and ensure that the various internal functions are operating efficiently and cohesively Ensure that the plant meets or exceeds key operating goals, i.e., safety, quality, material utilization & efficiency Meet or exceeds budget requirements Effectively manages labor costs to match production levels Oversee ongoing training program for key production employees Develop opportunities to reduce costs or improve output through effective capital planning and / or work flow redesign Maintain a close working relationship with key customers to ensure superior customer satisfaction Timely and effective communication with plant manager on key issues Effectively manage relationships with cross functional support groups Proactive and regular review of all key operating indices including appropriate reactions to variations Assist in development of annual plant budget Respond To Job Your responses on this application help the employer decide to review your resume.
